You should only ever have your medical aesthetic treatment, such as dermal filler or botulinum toxin administered by a fully qualified practitioner.
Why choose us?

Annie is a nationally recognised and sought-after trainer, advisor and consultant in medical aesthetics for leading industry brands and discerning clientele. Annie says:
“The reason I’m in business is because I want to help people look better, and hopefully feel better, about themselves. You’d be surprised how many people come to see us who say that how they feel on the inside is not matched by how they look on the outside.
My treatments aim to restore the balance between the way you feel and the way you look. Medical aesthetics treatments should look so good and natural afterwards that people can’t tell whether you’ve had anything done. You should always still look like you.”

This business is all about people, so the drive for us is about achieving quality results. We never cut corners on the quality of the products we use, and every patient is seen by a registered, experienced and fully qualified expert.
We are motivated by helping people truly love the way they look. We believe passionately that this should be achieved through enhancing natural features through medical expertise. This is why we seek to achieve natural results, so you still look like you.
At Skin and Face Clinics we are opposed to catering to the kind of fast fashion beauty standards that swamp our internal views of beauty and our sense of self. That’s why you can trust us to give you expert advice and quality, natural results.

Before treatment you should…
-
Seek Recommendations
Talk to friends and ask about their experiences. ‘Practitioner finders’ are available on some of the websites of companies who market dermal fillers. Each company will have their own criteria for who appears on this list and it’s often a commercial one. However, even if the criteria is commercial, and a certain amount of product has to be ordered to get listed, it does at least inform you that the individual is doing a reasonable amount of procedures with the product.
-
Look for qualified practitioners with years of proven experience in medical aesthetics
Annie would recommend that you find a properly qualified doctor, dentist or nurse with experience in medical aesthetics. Don’t be fooled by websites that look professional, but are vague about who will actually be treating you.
Advertised experience doesn’t always have to be relevant in order to appear convincing. Always check that practitioners have extensive experience relevant to the field of medical aesthetics.
-
Ask for a training update
Even those with appropriate medical qualifications may have done no more than one day of training in medical aesthetics. Ask when the last training update was done (also called CPD). You are entitled to ask to see a copy of the certificate.
